For Love Island fans, the best and most dramatic segment of the show is here, as Casa Amor has finally been introduced.

At the end of the week commencing 1 July, fans were treated to an eager peek at the eagerly awaited part of the show, that sees a huge shake-up in the main villa.

Six new single boys joined the girls in the secondary villa Casa Amor, and six new girls headed to the main villa to meet the boys.

Over the years, Casa Amor has provided plenty of drama, and with its slightly earlier introduction this year, it has the potential to cause even more explosive scenes.

One new singleton is Jack Keating, the son of former Boyzone star Ronan Keating, who confirmed who his dad is during the show.

What is Casa Amor?

Casa Amor loosely translates to ‘house of love’ and is the name of another villa, close to the main villa in Spain.

It’s deemed as the ultimate test for existing couples, as they get split up for a week, with the girls heading to Casa Amor to meet six new guys and the boys staying in the main villa, joined by six new girls.

With the show centred around drama, the most potential drama comes from Casa Amor.

It’s usually introduced a couple of weeks later than it has this year, with most of the couples not as strong as they usually are at this time of the show.

Also in previous years, there’s been tasks that pit Casa Amor against the main villa, with both villa’s trying to complete a challenge the fastest to win.

Who is new contestant Jack Keating?

One of the new boys is Jack Keating, who now joins fellow islander Gemma Owen in having a famous parent.

It has been well documented that Gemma is the offspring of former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen, although it appears it has been hardly spoken about in the villa.

But, sitting alongside Gemma, Jack revealed that his dad is former Boyzone star Ronan Keating, and that he also resides in London, after being born in Dublin.

It’s currently unknown who Jack may have his eye on as his screen time has been fairly limited, but it will undoubtedly become known as we get further into the show.

On the show, Jack said he is currently single as he just hasn’t met the right girl yet.

He said: : "I’m definitely loyal, my loyalties are obviously with the girl I’m with. I’ve never cheated on anyone.

"I can be very compassionate, I’m not afraid to tell a girl how I feel - I wear my heart on my sleeve a lot of the time."

Does he have a job?

Despite being the son of one of the biggest boy bands in the UK and Ireland, Keating does indeed have a job. He is in social media and marketing, and admitted on the show that his job entails him basically ‘sitting on Instagram messaging all day’.

He was a member of Boyzone, who were initially formed in 1993 alongside Keith Duffy, Michael Graham, Shane Lynch, and Stephen Gately.

It was reported that Boyzone have sold around 25 million records.

Who is his mum?

Also hailing from Dublin, Ireland is Jack’s mum Yvonne Connolly, who was married to the singer from 1998 to around 2011, with the divorce finalised in 2015.

The pair split after rumours of Ronan’s infidelity with a backing dancer came to light, with Ronan remarrying and Yvonne in a long-term relationship with a cinematographer.
