The London underground tube stops city locals can dress up as this Halloween.

If you’re planning to celebrate Halloween in the capital why go in costume at some of London’s most iconic Tube stations.

Whether you dress as your local stop or one of the city’s most famous stations there's plenty to draw inspiration from on the underground - 272 to be exact.

While some stations may inspire more obvious costumes than others we’ve compiled a list of some of our faves.

Waterloo - A classic Abba song you could dress as the band or take historical inspiration and dress as Napoleon.

King’s Cross - You can unleash your anger as a King for the night.

Angel - Don a halo and a pair of wings people instantly know you’re heaven sent.

High Barnet - Style your tallest hairstyle like a beehive or Jedward hair.

Arsenal - If you’re a supporter all you need to for this one is dust off you’re kit.

Baker Street - While the station is known for its connection to Sherlock Holmes, you could also just dress as a baker.

Old Street - Age up and dress as a grandma or grandad.

Bank - There’s so many options for this one, you could suit up and dress as a banker, come as a wad of money or even dress as a well known bank like Natwest or Santander.

Queen’s Park - While the obvious would be to dress as a monarch, why not pay homage to the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

Barking - All you need is ears and a painted nose for this one.

Bond Street - Bond, James Bond is the only acceptable option for this station.

Elephant & Castle - A great couples costume idea where one dresses as an elephant and the other as a castle or royal.

Paddington - Dress as the marmalade loving bear with his iconic red hat and blue coat.

Victoria - Give your best Queen Victoria look or perhaps dress as a Victoria sponge.
