Burns Night always falls on January 25, celebrating the life and work of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.

The evening is usually celebrated with a traditional Burns supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, some whiskey tasting and a good old ceilidh.

Doddie Weir’s Burns Supper

Want to celebrate Burns Night while also supporting a good cause? Come and have a ceilidh at Doddie Weir’s charity Burns supper.

In 2017, Weir was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease and My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was set up to raise awareness of the debilitating condition.

London Ceilidh Club’s Burns Night

London’s Ceilidh Club will be celebrating Robert Burns’s birthday with a night full of traditional Scottish dancing at St Mary’s in Marylebone.

There will be a special Burns supper buffet with haggis, neeps and tatties (vegetarian and vegan options available), along with a bagpiping session and ceilidh dancing on the massive dance floor.

The famous poet will be represented with exciting entertainment on the night, including a Scottish singer, pianist and Robbie Burns poetry readings.

The event is run in collaboration with whiskey brand Glenmorangie X and there will be opportunities to enjoy some whiskey tasting.

Burns Night Cabaret Show and Supper

Celebrate Burns Night in theatrical fashion in London’s West End at the Phoenix Arts Club.

Enjoy performances from Scotland’s very best cabaret performers, plus a three course traditional Scottish supper (with vegan options served) throughout the night.

The evening will be hosted by international drag diva, Vanity von Glow and guests will also be treated to a performance from Sword Swallowing Daredevil Snookie Mono.

Tickets also include a dram of whiskey to toast the haggis.
