Londoners will be able to step into Freddie Mercury’s world at a new exhibition in the city. The Freddie Mercury: A World of His Own collection will go on display in the capital on Friday (August 4) and will showcase some of the late Queen singer’s personal belongings.

The exhibition celebrating the iconic performer will stay open to London locals and visitors for just one month. It is set to close on September 5, which would have marked his 77th birthday.

It was announced that some of the Queen icon’s personal collection would go on display in the capital earlier this spring. The exhibition will show items from his former Garden Lodge residence, which will form a series of immersive galleries reflecting different moments of the singer’s life.

As well as the exhibition, there will also be a themed restaurant and cafe dedicated to the singer. While the restaurant will serve some of Mercury’s most beloved dishes, a cafe named after his two cats, Miko and Delilah, will be open.

Here’s everything fans need to know about the London Freddie Mercury exhibition.
