Enter Shikari returns from the wilderness with a brand new album since the release of Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible three years ago and details of ‘residencies’ across a number of UK venues, London included. The band, set to release their new album, A Kiss For The Dying, on April 21 and will perform three nights at London’s HERE at Outernet on February 15, March 17 and April 17, 2023.

Speaking about the idea of a residency, vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds says “It’s hard to do anything interesting with live shows today. We wanted to do something different. We’re going to become a local band to five major cities in the UK. It’s going to be interesting to see how the shows evolve every time we return.”

Alongside news of a brand new album and a new series of live dates across the UK comes the first single to be lifted from the EP, (pls) set me on fire, which heralds the next stage in the band’s evolution. Opening up with the demand “please set me on fire” the band invites listeners to “ignite the spark inside us and set us free”.

Speaking about the recording process, Reynolds is proud to discuss the band returning to their production roots: “back to basics. This band - my best friends - bundled into an old farmhouse, miles away from anywhere. Off-grid, and ready to rediscover ourselves. This album is powered by the sun, the most powerful object in our solar system. And I think you can tell. It’s a collection of songs that represent an explosive reconnection with what Enter Shikari is. The beginning of our second act”.

Limited formats of A Kiss For The Dying come packaged with the Live From Alexandra Palace 3 album & DVD, recorded live in December 2021 at the band’s sold out 10,000 capacity London show. As for getting tickets to their London residency, Londonworld has you covered.
