Elizabeth Line disruptions could affect people travelling to London Comic Con this weekend
MCM Comic Con fans may be affected by Elizabeth Line service alterations this weekend.
The first MCM London Comic Con of 2025 is finally here as it takes over the city’s ExCel Centre this weekend.
The three-day event which starts today (May 23) and wraps up this Sunday (May 25), will host everything from meet and greets to audience panels across the weekend as pop culture, video game, and comic fans come together.
Fans heading to the event this bank holiday weekend can travel to the convention via both the DLR and Elizabeth line.
The ExCeL Centre is near two DLR stations, Custom House and Prince Regent. Custom House is also on the Elizabeth Line.
However MCM Comic Con fans travelling via the Elizabeth Line on Sunday (May 25) could face disruption as the service has reduced services planned across the weekend.
From 7.40am on Sunday a reduced Elizabeth Line service will operate between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 / Maidenhead.
As part of the alterations no trains serve Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell across the day.
While the rest of the line is expected to run as normal, it could affect MCM Comic Con fans travelling in from the west of the city to the event for its final day.
To get the most latest updates on the Underground, DLR and Overground you can use the TfL app or website.
Those unsure of what route to take can always plan their trek to the venue through the TFL Journey Planner or apps on their phone, such as Citymapper.
