World famous pop star Dua Lipa will soon be heading to her hometown London, as she embarks on the European leg of her world tour.

The tour is in aid of her album, ‘Future Nostalgia’ which was released in 2020, and the star has been travelling all over the United States, and is now set to perform her hit songs from the album in major cities in the UK.

With tickets no doubt in demand for the superstar, here’s all you need to know about her London shows.

When is Dua Lipa performing in London?

The 26-year-old will be travelling to her hometown to perform at the iconic O2 Arena on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3.

The star is definitely no stranger to performing in London, as she has previously performed at the likes of the British Summertime Festival at Hyde Park, and is rumoured to live in a £6.75 million pound pad in the capital.

Where else is she performing?

The London performance rounds off her UK tour. After first performing in Manchester, she will head to Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and more, with the UK tour ending in May at the O2 in London

How do I get tickets?

Unfortunately, on Ticketmaster, tickets for her performance on Monday, May 2 are all sold out.

However, tickets for her second show on Tuesday, May 3 are still available, and can be purchased from Ticketmaster, and currently cost £64.80 each.

Fear not if you miss out on tickets, as the website Twickets could help you out! Twickets which is a trusted fan to fan marketplace for selling and buying tickets at face value.

Search in the search bar the artist you’re looking for and click ‘all events’ then the event you want to attend, and see if tickets are available. You can even filter by date and location on the site, to really narrow your search.

You can also receive notifications from Twickets. All you have to do is download the Twickets app on your android or iOS device, then go to the ‘edit profile’ then scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can turn on push notifications.

Who is the support act?

The support acts for Dua Lipa have been confirmed, and will be present for her London performances.

Her support acts will be Tove Lo, Griff and Angèle.

Tove Lo is a 34-year-old Swedish singer, known for her song ‘Habits (Stay High) which currently has almost 600 million streams on Spotify.

Griff is a 21-year-old singer, who in 2021 won the Brit award for Rising Star.

Angèle is a 26-year-old singer from Belgium, who recently brought out her new album in 2021, named ‘Nonante-Cinq’ which simply translates to ‘95’ - with the singer born in 1995.

Who is Dua Lipa?

Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter, who has risen to unprecedented heights in recent years, due to many of her songs doing well in the charts, making her one of the most famous and listened to artists in the world.

Despite her levels of fame, she only released her first studio album in 2017, simply titled ‘Dua Lipa’. And, it was around this time she enjoyed a rise to slight prominence as she provided the vocals to Dutch DJ Martin Garrix’s song ‘Scared To Be Lonely’, which has over 1 billion streams on Spotify.

The album was a major success, peaking at number three on the UK albums chart and included songs such as New Rules, IDGAF which put her in the spotlight.

The album was littered with high performing songs. Another one from the album included ‘New Rules’, which hit number one on the singles charts, and peaked at number six in the United States.

As of writing this, the album has been certified platinum in numerous countries worldwide, and was a major contributing factor as Lipa won the singer the Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artists and British Breakthrough Act in 2018.

Her album in 2020, Future Nostalgia, really demonstrated the talent she possessed. Her song on the album ‘Don’t Start Now’ was the most commercially successful song by a female artist in the United States in 2020.

As of 2022, she is performing well once again on the charts, as her song Cold Heart - PNAU remix with Sir Elton John is performing high on the charts.
