Two days of stand-up comedy comes to south London this weekend, ahead of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Well known comedy faces from shows on the BBC, Dave and Comedy Central feature Croydon Comedy Festival.

The event, from Nice N’ Spiky Comedy, is at Stanley Arts on Saturday and Sunday (July 8 and 9).

On one ticket fans can catch 14 shows from stars including Ali Woods, Chloe Petts, Darren Harriott, Esther Manito, Patrick Monahan, Russell Hicks and Stuart Laws.

And the venue’s yard bar will be open all weekend for a drink in the sun.

When and where is Croydon Comedy Festival?

Croydon Comedy Festival is on Saturday and Sunday (July 8 and 9), from midday to 11pm.

The show is for people aged 18+ and is at Stanley Arts, 12 South Norwood Hill, SE25 6AB.

The venue is a five-minute walk from Norwood Junction on the London Overground.
