Often showcasing grand installations, last year the spot’s plaza was lit up with rows of twinkling lights.
This year’s display will, of course, also feature the spot’s famous Christmas tree, with Covent Garden having now confirmed when the lights will switch on.

Covent Garden is set to unveil its 2025 Christmas lights on Wednesday, November 12.
What time will the 2025 Covent Garden Christmas light switch on?
The Covent Garden Christmas lights are expected to switch on around 5.20pm on November 12. From then Londoners will be able to see the display lit up across the festive period from around 11am to midnight each day.
