Coronation screening locations in London: Where to watch on big screens across the city

London is set to host a number of big screens that will cast King Charles III’s coronation to crowds in the capital. The historical moment that will take place on May 6 will be screened in locations around the city.
The capital is at the heart of the upcoming coronation festivities. The ceremony will take place at the central royal church, Westminster Abbey.

Hide AdLast week three London screening sites were confirmed by the UK government. The locations include parks across the city from Dagenham to Ealing.
The three sites are just a few of the places in the capital that will host big screens for the coronation. Some of London’s royal parks will also have their own screenings.
We break down where there will be big screens in London over the coronation period.
Hyde Park, Westminster, London
There will be a total of four screens throughout Hyde Park. A map is available on the government website. Their locations are listed below:
- Old Football Pitches - facing west.
- Old Football Pitches - facing east.
- The Cockpit
- Boathouse Lawn
The nearest underground to Hyde Park stations include:
- Knightsbridge - 3 minute walk
- Marble Arch - 4 minute walk
Green Park, Westminster, London

The nearest underground stop to the location is Green Park. It is also a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly Circus underground station.
St James’s Park, Westminster, London
St James’s Park will also only have one screen. This will be located near the Marlborough Gate. A map is available on the government website.
The nearest underground stop is St James’s Park. However, the station is expected to be closed on the day of the coronation. The next closest underground station is Westminster which is around an eight-minute walk.
Holland Park, Kensington and Chelsea, London

In honour of the coronation, Wembley Park has renamed its Olympic Way, which leads up to the north west London area’s iconic stadium. It will temporarily go by Kings Way, with Wembley also set to host its own coronation celebrations.
