Coraline exhibition London: Laika display to wrap up stint at BFI Southbank this week

Coraline fans will only be able to see puppets and sets used in the classic stop-motion movie up close for a few more days at the London exhibition.

This summer the US studio behind the 2009 film, Laika, was spotlighted in a display in the capital which is set to end this week.

Over the past almost month the Laika Frame x Frame exhibition has showcased character puppets and recognisable sets from the studio’s five current films including the beloved dark fantasy Coraline.

For the movie over 130 sets were made. Props from the familiar on screen sceneries that will be on display in the capital include the Other World bridge, garden gate, nose tree and mantis tractor.

Where is the London Coraline exhibition? The nearest Tube stop to display

The Laika Frame x Frame exhibition is based at BFI Southbank in the venue’s Blue Room.

Not too far from Waterloo station, Coraline will be able to travel via the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo & City lines to get to the themed display.

When does the London Coraline exhibition close?

The Laika Frame x Frame exhibition officially opened at BFI Southbank on Monday (August 12) and will be open for fans to visit until October 1.

  • September 30 - 1pm - 9pm
  • October 1 - 1pm - 9pm

Do I need a ticket to enter the London Coraline exhibition?

The exhibition is a free display although Coraline fans will need to book a time slot ticket to visit the display. This can be done on the Laika Frame x Frame exhibition page on the BFI Southbank website.
