3 things Coldplay fans won't want to miss in London during Wembley Stadium residency

Coldplay fans flocking to Wembley Stadium for their London shows this month won’t want to miss these London pop ups.

All the Coldplay pop ups in London fans won’t want to miss during their Wembley Stadium shows.

The British rockers are set to helm a total of ten shows at the west London venue over the next month as part of their massive Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

Kicking off the capital residency this Friday (August 22) a couple of pop ups have appeared around the city to celebrate.

The first is set right by Wembley Stadium. Wembley Park’s Spanish Steps which connect Wembley Park Boulevard to the Stadium have turned yellow in honour of the band.

Inspired by Coldplay’s timeless track Yellow, the Wembley Stadium stairs have been taken over with the sunshine hue.

The new design shows one staircase featuring the lyrics “And it was all yellow” accompanied by an ombre of yellow covering the rest of the steps.

Next across the city is King's Cross where the band have planned a whole takeover of the area.

As well as a free to visit photo exhibition of the Music Of The Spheres World Tour so far, the spot will also have tour merch available there.

Immersive digital projection space Lightroom is also screening a special display inspired by Coldplay’s Moon Music album and will host post show talks. Tickets start at £25 for adults and £15 for students and children.

Finally of course Wembley Park station will no doubt also have a special All On The Board sign for Coldplay’s shows.

If you’ve been to gigs or concerts in the capital before you’ll know the sign appears at tube stations nearby and features messages with the artist/ bands song titles in.
