Legendary rock-band Coldplay are to play mutliple shows in London, one of only two stops in the UK as they gear up for a European leg of their world tour.

The tour, named ‘Music of the Spheres’ is named after the 2021 album that goes by the same name.

The world tour kicked off in San Jose in March 2022, with the band having travelled through the United States and Mexico and have already performed a few shows in Europe.

When are Coldplay performing in London?

Coldplay are to perform a mammoth six shows in London, with each one being performed at the iconic Wembley Stadium. The dates for these shows are on 12, 13, 16, 17, 19 and 20 August, with two new shows being added due to ‘unprecedented demand’.

As said, London is one of only two stops on their UK tour, with the other being Glasgow, where they band will sign off on their short UK stay.

Coldplay are a British rock band, that were formed in London in 1996.

They consist of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey.

They met at University College London and began playing music together from 1996 to 1998, first calling themselves Pectoralz and then Starfish.

Chris Martin is considered the most famous person in the band, thanks to his high profile marriage to actress Gwyneth Paltrow and current relationship with Fifty Shades actress Dakota Johnson.
