In a post on X the band wrote: “Due to phenomenal demand in the presale, ninth and tenth Wembley Stadium shows have just been announced for 7 & 8 September, 2025”
The new shows which will take place on September 7 & 8 will mean Coldplay will now play four shows next September following six that August.
Coldplay’s 10 concert residency at Wembley Stadium will follow Oasis’ massive reunion show run also at the west London spot which will feature seven concerts.
The stint will also see the band set a new record for Wembley Stadium as the most shows played on a single tour there.
The record is currently held by Taylor Swift who broke it this summer for her eight show Eras Tour stint at the venue in June and August.
Michael Jackson previously held the record for his historic 1988 residency for his Bad World Tour which had seven sold-out concerts at Wembley Stadium.
