Christmas at Kenwood has returned with a new interactive light trail, bringing festive sparkle to north London.

The grounds of the 17th-century former stately home Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath have been illuminated with a variety of colourful installations, including a colour-changing Christmas tree, a giant golden present and interactive bubble tubes.

Festive food and warming winter drinks are also on offer from Christmas wooden chalets en route as visitors immerse themselves in the enchanted forest walk.

The trail is produced by event promoters Kilimanjaro Live in collaboration with English Heritage. Creative director Katherine Jewkes also worked with light design company Luminism to create 13 brand-new installations with interactive elements, designed exclusively for the event.

Abi Marsh, head of historic properties at English Heritage, said the trail was “the perfect way to get the family into the yuletide spirit.”

Christmas at Kenwood runs from December 1 2023 to January 1 2024.
