Wembley Stadium will kick off its concert season with Capital FM’s 2023 Summertime Ball this weekend. The annual summer-themed music show will see an array of big-name artists take to the stadium’s stage on Sunday (June 11).

The radio station is set to take over Wembley Stadium as it invites 17 of the biggest stars in music right now to perform to London crowds. The Jonas Brothers, Niall Horan and Adam Lambert are just some of the musicians in the 2023 lineup.

Capital confirmed the full list of performers earlier this year in April. At the time, Capital radio hosts Roman Kemp, Sian Welby, and Chris Stark announced the news across two days of their breakfast show.

Lewis Capaldi was also set to take to the stage this weekend. However, the singer announced he had stepped down from his spot on the 2023 lineup as he takes some time off from performing ahead of his Glastonbury set.

As stated on the Wembley Stadium website, doors for the event will open at 12pm. It is recommended guests arrive near to the time when doors open so they can pass through security checks in time and get settled before the event kicks off.

The 2023 Capital Summertime Ball will start at 2pm. The concert will continue across the afternoon and early evening as a variety of big names take to the stage. It is expected to wrap up at 9.30pm. However, attendees should note timings for the event are subject to change.

How to get to Capital’s Summertime Ball 2023 by train and tube

Train 

The nearest rail station to Capital Summertime Ball 2023 is Wembley Stadium Station which is a 7-minute walk away. The station offers Chiltern Railway services to London Marylebone as well as further out destinations, including Birmingham Moor Street.

Wembley Central also offers rail services via Southern Railway to other train stations across the city, including London Euston, Clapham Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone. Wembley Central is a 22-minute walk from the stadium.

Underground

Wembley Park is the closest tube stop to Capital Summertime Ball 2023 and is just a 14-minute walk. The station has links to both the Jubilee and Metropolitan underground lines.

Wembley Central also has underground links via the Bakerloo line but is slightly further out as it is a 22-minute walk from the stadium.
