Capital FM Summertime Ball 2022: when is London festival, how much are tickets, and lineup with Harry Styles

Harry Styles will be headlining the show at Wembley Stadium.

Capital have confirmed the return of the famous Summertime Ball, which will see the popular summer show back at Wembley Stadium for the first time in three years.

The event is set to welcome around 80,000 fans, for one of the biggest and most popular music events in the UK.

The last time it took place in 2019, we saw the likes of Maroon 5, Halsey, Mark Ronson, Jess Glynne and The Jonas Brothers performing, to name a few.

So, with the eagerly anticipated return of the show announced, what is the line-up, and how do I get tickets?

When is the Summertime Ball 2022?

The Summertime ball 2022 will take place on Sunday, June 12 2022 and will feature some of the biggest names in the music industry.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets are exclusively sold by Global Player.

The general sale for the tickets will be available for fans on Global Player at 9am on Thursday, 28 April.

Listeners who logged in to Global Player, as well as Barclaycard customers will get exclusive pre-sale access to tickets from Tuesday, April 26 at 9am.

Prices for the tickets are currently unknown.

What is the line-up?

A headline show at Wembley Stadium is bound to attract some of the biggest names in music, with around 80,000 fans present.

The Summertime Ball has always presented a strong line-up, and this is no different.

  • Harry Styles

After leaving One Direction, Styles has found his rhythm and is doing well for himself as a solo artist.

Post-One Direction has seen the Redditch native release hit songs such as ‘Watermelon Sugar’ which has almost 1.8 billion streams on Spotify, and his new song ‘As It Was’ is currently topping the global and UK charts on Spotify, boasting over 250 million streams on Spotify.

  • Becky Hill

Seemingly always playing on Capital FM, Hill has collaborated with some of the leading figures in music, such as David Guetta.

Her ability to switch from genres such as house to pop has made her a popular singer, and is arguably most known for her song ‘Lose Control’ which has just shy of 800 million streams on Spotify.

Gayle was largely unknown before her song ‘abcdefu’ went viral on TikTok, and is one of the most played sounds on the app, and has caused the song to now have over 600 million streams.

  • George Ezra

After a brief hiatus, Ezra has returned with new music, and will release a new album ‘Gold Rush Kid’ on June 10.

So far, he has released two new songs from the album named ‘Anyone For You (Tiger Lily)’ and Green, Green Grass.

KSI initially rose to fame when he was 16, and made videos from his home based on the popular video game FIFA.

As he grew older, he and six other British Youtubers formed The Sidemen, one of the most known groups on the site.
