Roundhouse - In The Round 2024: Songs of Joni Mitchell evening tops off Camden festival bill - tickets

A season at Camden's Roundhouse will feature acts including Lucy Rose, Samara Joy and Lonnie Holley, as well as The Songs of Joni Mitchell.

An evening from the songbook of Joni Mitchell tops the bill for a series of gigs in north London in April.

Roundhouse - In the Round takes place from April 18 to 27 and is now in its seventh year.

The Camden venue will host a range of artists performing intimate gigs on the arts venue’s circular stage to a surrounding, fully-seated audience.

The season opens with The Songs of Joni Mitchell, featuring artists including Emeli Sandé, Kate Stables of This Is The Kit, Vashti Bunyan, Lail Arad, Sam Amidon, Eska, Bombay Bicycle Club and the Roundhouse Vocal Ensemble. The night is curated by Lail Arad, and hosted by Cerys Matthews, as a celebration of Joni Mitchell in her 80th year.

Other events will be headlined by Tirzah, Vashti Bunyan, Joe Armon-Jones, Jlin, Lucy Rose, Lonnie Holley, Matana Roberts and Samara Joy.

On April 24, the Camden venue will host Death Songbook, an evening with Paraorchestra, featuring Suede frontman Brett Anderson, conductor Charles Hazlewood and singer Gwenno. Paraorchestra features an ensemble of disabled and non-disabled professional musicians who blend artforms, genres, and technology to create large-scale music projects.
