London music fans can see some big names perform in Camden this weekend.

Camden’s high street is set to be taken over by live performances this weekend as the inaugural free Camden Music Festival kicks off. The one-day music event, which will see both the Buzzcocks and Billy Brag perform, is this Saturday (September 9).

The Camden Music Festival will make its debut in the capital this weekend following a series of unveilings on the Music Walk Of Fame. The stone trail along Camden High Street is set to welcome a total of 11 stones as it honours music icons, including Janis Joplin and The Kinks.

In celebration of the new stone additions, Camden will host a day of live music, inviting London locals and those visiting the city the chance to see some big names perform for free.

Where will the 2023 Camden Music Festival be held?

The festivities will be held along the pedestrianised high street, which spans from Camden Town Tube to Camden Lock. There will also be further celebrations in the nearby Hawley Crescent area.

Do you need a ticket for the 2023 Camden Music Festival?

No music lovers will not need a ticket to join in on the festivities as the event is free to all.

When does the 2023 Camden Music Festival start and finish?

The music festivities are set to kick off at noon on September 9. The first performances are also set to start around this time. The day festival is expected to wrap up at 8pm.
