Pink kicked off BST Hyde Park 2023 with her headline weekend.

BST Hyde Park started with a bang as Pink headlined the first weekend of the 2023 festival. The US singer got London crowds hyped as she performed classic hits and wowed audiences with her signature acrobatics in the sky.

The Just Give Me A Reason hitmaker performed two headline shows as she took to the stage on Saturday (June 24) and again on Sunday (June 25). The So What singer’s BST stint is a part of her 2023 Summer Carnival Tour, which will see Pink head to cities across Europe next.

Pink took London crowds on a musical journey during her two-hour set over the weekend. From throwback tunes to lively choreography, she certainly put on a show with the singer even starting and ending her set in the capital’s skies.

Across her weekend shows, she performed popular tracks, including So What and Blow (Me One Last Kiss). One heartwarming moment even saw Pink joined by her daughter, Willow Sage Heart, as they performed a duet of Cover Me In Sunshine.

Here’s three moments the singer won over London crowds at BST Hyde Park 2023.

Pink reflected on her last Hyde Park performance over a decade ago

Pink is no stranger to the London park, with the Raise Your Glass hitmaker having previously performed at the iconic greenspace back in 2010. Before Hyde Park became known for hosting the BST music festival, the site was previously home to Wireless.

During her 2023 performance at Hyde Park, the singer reflected on her last set there 13 years ago. Looking back on her past performance, Pink shared how grateful she was to be back in front of London crowds there as she noted it had "been a while."

The singer began: "Thank you. It’s been like, what, 15 years since I was last in Hyde Park doing this. Right like 13, 14, 15 [years], I don’t know, it’s been a while." She continued: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and all of us on this stage and behind it are absolutely just honoured and so happy to be here with you."

Pink got her own Beyoncé moment with London’s windy weather

The wind was out in force across Pink’s Sunday BST set, with the singer even joking she finally got to experience performing with a fan on-stage like Queen Bey.

The singer quipped: "It’s so windy. It’s nice though, I think, although I don’t know if I have wind hair," as she adjusted her iconic quiff-styled hair. She added: "I always wanted a Beyoncé fan, but I don’t think I have the hair for it. It just doesn’t hit the same, does it."

Pink’s cover of Make You Feel My Love had London crowds swooning

As well as singing some of her hits, including So What, Just Give Me A Reason and Get The Party Started, Pink also covered the timeless Bob Dylan track Make You Feel My Love.

While the 1997 song has been covered by the likes of Billy Joel and Kelly Clarkson, London crowds will likely know it best for Adele’s soulful rendition. With Adele hailing from Tottenham, her cover has a place in many Londoners’ hearts, and unsurprisingly Pink’s cover was a hit with festival goers as they harmonised with the chart-topping artist.

How to get last-minute BST Hyde Park 2023 tickets

While many headline shows are now sold out, there are still some limited tickets available across BST Hyde Park’s 2023 dates.

Select passes for Blackpink and Guns N’ Roses, who are set to both take to the London festival’s stage this coming weekend, are still up for grabs on the BST Hyde Park website.
