Brixton theatre celebrates Black Queer voices with new cast reveal
The new cast for “Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist” revival at Brixton House has been announced!
Brixton House has revealed the cast for Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist, a bold, fearless play that returns after a sold-out run at the Housemates Festival last year.

Running from 6–29th November 2025, this Brixton House and No Name Creatives co-production explores love and faith through the lens of Black Queer experience.
Written by Olivier Award–nominated performer and playwright Emmanuel Akwafo, the story is “both a love letter and a call to arms.”
The play offers an honest and unflinching portrayal of identity and belonging in a world that often demands silence from those who don’t fit its mould.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of London, Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist follows four friends as they navigate relationships and self-acceptance while confronting societal expectations.
Noah Thomas (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) takes on the role of Nathaniel, bringing nuance to a man searching for pride in his vulnerability.

Prince Kundai (Bootycandy) stars as Monday, a man torn between his cultural roots and his growing desire to live authentically, delivering a performance that is both warm and tense.
BAFTA scholarship recipient and LAMDA graduate Romeo Mika plays Joseph, marking another step in a promising career that saw his debut with Mischief Theatre Company’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

Completing the central quartet is Tyler Orphé-Baker (Sinatra The Musical), who brings charisma and range to Mohammed, embodying the play’s themes of resilience and hope.
The production is directed by Nathanael Campbell, known for his innovative storytelling in productions of Jane Eyre at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and Passing Strange at the Young Vic.
Together, Campbell and Akwafo aim to deliver a production that balances humour with raw truth to push audiences to reflect on their own perceptions of identity.
Described as “a defiant”, “tender”, and “unflinching”, Limp Wrist & The Iron Fist continues Brixton House’s mission to champion bold, contemporary storytelling by underrepresented voices.
