Bonfire Night is almost here, although Londoners across the city may have already heard firework festivities for the occasion over the weekend.
November 5 aka Bonfire Night of course commemorates Guy Fawkes’ failed gunpowder plot attempt to blow up parliament and King James 1.

The only London Bonfire Night firework display actually happening on November 5
Wimbledon Park is the only main capital park that will set off fireworks for Bonfire night in London on November 5. Its display will be soundtracked by a special musical score with a street food village and fun fair also set to pop up at the park for the occasion.

Offering panoramic views of the city from the city’s Southbank you may just be able to see different displays across town from the London Eye.
For the best chance you may want to book the final slot of the day on the London Eye which is 5.45pm to 6pm which is likely when most displays will start.

Step into the history of Bonfire Night
Londoners can relive Guy Fawkes’ failed Gunpowder Plot thanks to the London immersive experience created by Historic Royal Palaces and Layered Reality.
Based in the Tower Vaults at the Tower of London, The Gunpowder Plot experience gives visitors a chance to step into 1605 ahead of Guy Fawkes’ infamous attempt to blow up parliament.
