An artwork showing life-size figures on a London wall may be a new piece by Banksy.

The mural, which can be seen on a wall outside Edgeware Road Underground station in Marylebone Road, proclaims 'Another world is possible' next to three figures appearing to drag a robot arm towards a planet.

The words 'Put paint everywhere' are also featured in red, though LondonWorld understands this is not part of the original composition.

Whilst Banksy has not officially claimed the piece, fans are still visiting the wall.

Nicholas Bähler, 27, has been a fan of Banksy for a few years. He is on a week-long trip to London from Switzerland with his partner. The pair visited the wall specifically in the hope to see a Banksy in person.

“The piece looks dystopian like most of his work…I think he is trying to say that we are all continuing on the same route as if this is the only possibility with the economy, capitalism and consumerism. It seems to criticise that we blindly follow the given path, and we could switch if we wanted to," he said.

“The style is not very intricate so it is possible to make copies that look the same, but actually having seen it this seems like the real deal.”

Banksy, the pseudonym of the British street artist and activist, has not posted an official artwork on his Instagram since March, which showed a child and their dog opening up the curtains painted onto a rundown building.

The slideshow post then shows the building being knocked down, with the text: 'Morning is broken’.

TfL (Transport for London) and Westminster Council have been contacted for comment.
