We're not the only ones who had FOMO from not attending Madonna's Celebration Tour opening weekend at London's O2 Arena. Even Adele has said she felt like she missed out on not seeing the 'Queen of Pop' in her home city.

The Hello hitmaker, who is currently in the United States for her Las Vegas residency, gushed about being a Madonna fan, saying she was gutted she couldn't see her perform in London.

Madonna kicked off her Celebration Tour in the capital over the weekend as she performed hits from her career spanning more than four decades at the top of the music charts.

Adele has previously revealed that the artist's late '90s album Ray Of Light was a particular influence on her 2015 album 25.

While chatting with Rolling Stone, she said related to the album Madonna wrote after having her first child as a new mum.
