But nothing is more important than the potential for a memorable night out.

With A-Level Results Day fast approaching (Thursday!) Many prospective students are going to be thinking about taking the plunge and moving to the capital.

So, we’re here to say, welcome aboard! We want to share a bit of information that might help sway your decision (towards London!)

London stands out as a world-class student nightlife destination, offering an unparalleled choice with a staggering 2,796 bars and clubs across the city.

While prices are on the higher end, roughly £8 for a beer and £2.62 for a soft drink, the variety and experience on offer more than make up for it.

According to data provided by Canvas, students can enjoy everything from quirky cocktail spots to iconic super clubs, with venues earning an exceptional average rating of 4.72 out of 5, in a recent ranking (the highest in the UK).

Although the safety score for walking alone at night is 24.91, sticking to well-known areas and travelling in groups helps ensure a fun and secure night out.

Fabric in Farringdon, XOYO in Shoreditch, Egg London near King’s Cross, and Bar Rumba in Leicester Square are some top spots for students in the capital.

For an edgier crowd, head to Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle or try Dalston Superstore for an inclusive LGBTQ+ venue in the city.
