While Glastonbury 2023 kicks off this week, Londoners don’t have to worry about missing out. A couple of spots are set to celebrate the annual festival across the capital this weekend.

The Somerset-based festival will welcome some of music’s biggest names to take to the iconic pyramid stage this week. Elton John, The Arctic Monkeys and Lizzo are just some of the beloved icons set to put on a show at the festival.

While the festival is far from the city, those who call London home can still join in on the festival buzz. A few places in the capital have revealed they will be hosting their own celebrations.

So whether you didn’t manage to get a Glastonbury ticket or are just wanting to hear some of this year’s lineup hits, we’ve compiled a few spots that you can head to.

We break down where Londoners can join in on the Glastonbury festivities in the capital.

Glast-home-bury at The Gipsy Hill Taproom

The South London-based brewery is hosting a three-day celebration in honour of Glastonbury. Starting off on Friday (June 23) and wrapping on Sunday evening (June 25), the venue will host its own slice of Glasto in the capital.

As explained on the Eventbrite listing, the brewery will be showing each of the night’s headliners. Each night will have a different theme based on the headline act. Friday’s will be 00’s sleaze for the Arctic Monkeys, Saturday’s is 80’s rock and roll for Guns N’ Roses, while Sunday is 70s disco for Elton John.

Glastoganda at Camden Assembly

Camden locals will also be able to imagine they are at the iconic music festival by heading to Glastoganda. The themed night will play hits from the festival lineup throughout the evening.

How to watch Glastonbury 2023 at home for your own festival party

Londoners hosting their own Glastonbury celebrations will be able to stream the festival and watch it on TV.

BBC will be broadcasting live coverage of the weekend festival across BBC One, Two, Three and Four.

The broadcasting company’s streaming service, BBC iPlayer, will also show the action from the event’s five main stages, including more than 90 sets throughout the festival.
