Video footage shows a street in south London submerged in water after overnight rainfall.

Heavy rain battered the capital on Sunday night (September 22) causing travel chaos on Monday morning with several Tube lines closed and trains disrupted.

A video posted on X, shows a street in Colliers Wood flooded after heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile footage posted online shows a “mini tornado” hitting Luton in Bedfordshire.

The video shows debris - including a trampoline - being thrown high into the air and swirling around during the heavy storm on Sunday.

The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning for London till 11.59pm tonight (September 23).

The weather is forecast to be largely dry today but with the odd isolated shower.
