This July, Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury presents its “Silhouette & Pilates” retreat. Open to both hotel and local guests, this wellness experience focuses on body conditioning and reconnecting with one’s strength. Leading the retreat is German Pilates expert Petra Hoffmann. Offering a combination of mat-based, Cadillac, Fusion and chair Pilates, she will help participants reconnect with their inner strength while building muscle tone. Alongside her focused workshops, a complete spa programme enhances the benefits: tropical body scrubs, lymphatic drainage, sports massages and signature Valmont therapies. Open to all ages and fitness levels, this six-day retreat promises deep restoration. Petra Hoffmann will also run a daily group Pilates class, suitable for all levels, as part of the hotel’s Wellness & Fitness programme.

About Petra Hoffmann

Originally from Germany, Petra Hoffmann has been practising yoga for almost 18 years. She trained in the Iyengar tradition under Ernst Adams and qualified as a teacher in 2011 at the prestigious Shades of Yoga School in South Africa. She moved into Pilates in 2012 and became a certified instructor in 2016. For Petra, Pilates offers inner strength, balance, and harmony – qualities she now shares with clients in Mauritius, where she’s made her new home. Her classes are engaging and empowering, focusing on building muscle strength and flexibility. Participants leave feeling calm and centred, with tension released from body and mind.
