Piccadilly Line closure this weekend - timings and alternative routes on the London Underground

Londoners planning to travel via the Piccadilly Line this weekend may face disruption due to closures.

Transport for London (TfL) has asked Londoners to check before they travel via the Piccadilly Line this weekend due to a planned closure of the entire service.

This Saturday (January 17) and Sunday (January 18) the full line will be closed.

The closure will be in effect from 12am Saturday morning and will stay in place through to Sunday evening.

Running from Cockfosters to both Uxbridge and Heathrow, the Piccadilly line is one of the five London tube lines that have 24 hour services between Fridays and Saturdays.

As part of the closure, the Piccadilly line’s night tube will also be out of action this weekend.

Alternative bus routes will be in operation however TFL have advised passengers to use the Metropolitan Line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge or the Elizabeth line for journeys to and from Heathrow.

To get the most latest updates on the Underground, DLR and Overground you can use the TfL app or website.
