Tottenham Hotspur look to continue their quest to win the 2022-2023 Premier League title, as Antonio Conte’s men play host to Aston Villa in the latest round of Premier League fixtures. The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a kick off time of 2pm on New Year’s Day.

Currently undergoing some erratic form in the domestic league, Spurs currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, ten points off the pace being set by leaders Arsenal. Unfortunately they also have played a game more and only have a single point over their nearest rivals, Manchester United, who are vying for a lucrative Champions League position.

Tottenham’s run of their last five games has seen the team overcome Leeds United and Bournemouth in tightly fought Premier League contests. But other results have seen themselves drop down the league ladder with losses to Liverpool, Newcastle and a draw in their last game against fellow Londoners Brentford.

Aston Villa meanwhile are looking to bounce back from their loss after the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, falling to a reinvigorated Liverpool side 3-1. Goals in that game came from Mohammed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and newcomer Stefan Bajcetic, with Ollie Watkins scoring a consolation goal for the hosts.

The last five head-to-head games between Aston Villa and Spurs doesn’t do the Birmingham club any favours either. Tottenham have beaten Aston Villa in four of their last five Premier League encounters, with Villa last earning a win against Spurs back in May 2021.

In that game, Ollie Watkins once again scored - this time earning the Villains all three points. Londonworld has taken a look at the options available (if any) to watch Spurs v Aston Villa in this weekend’s Premier League fixture.
