Crowds will fill the banks of The Thames this weekend as 250,000 people come out to watch The Boat Race 2023 between Oxford University and Cambridge University.
The historic clash starts at Putney Bridge and rows through Hammersmith and Barnes before the big finish at Chiswick.
Whether spectators be avid rowing fans or locals fancying a riverside stroll and glass of Pimms, The Boat Race drums up a truly unique atmosphere as the two boats battle it out for the trophy
It's set to be a feisty year of rowing this time out, with Cambridge seeking revenge after an Oxford upset last year in the Men's race and the dark blue women hoping to break a seven-year winless spell.
There are several riverside pubs along the four-mile race course that offer views over The Tideway, many of which are throwing special events with live bands, marquees and pop-up bars.
