Arsenal, Chelsea and more will have multiple players taking part in the Fifa 2022 World Cup

We are now just days away from the Fifa 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Many of the 32 participating countries  have announced their squads that will be heading to the Middle East.

London is home to some of the finest footballers in the world such as Harry Kane and Aleksandar Mitrovic. With many squads announced, LondonWorld is looking at all players that turn out for London-based clubs who are heading to Qatar.

The World Cup is a special occasion, and despite calls for a bi-annual competition, it is held once every four years. This could prove to be an emotional World Cup for millions worldwide as legends such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will take to the global stage for potentially the last time.

As always, there’s a lot of expectation that England will do well. After losing in the final of Euro 2020 Euro to Italy, people are hoping Gareth Soutgate’s men can produce in Qatar, and win the nations first World Cup since 1966.

One of the surprise inclusions was Conor Gallagher. The midfielder has been a bit-part player for Chelsea under Graham Potter, but will be on the plane for the World Cup.
