The players in the Three Lions’ Euro 2020 came from all over the UK, from as far south as Southampton all the way up to Sunderland - but unsurprisingly, a quintet of Londoners made the cut, with Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka, Raheem Sterling and Reece James all representing the capital in the finals.
As England prepares to come together to celebrate the national team at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Footy Accumulators have researched all England players throughout history to discover from which parts of the country they hail.
Here are the London boroughs which have made the greatest contribution to the England team, ranked from fewest players to most:

1. Hillingdon
Only seven footballers from Hillingdon have ever pulled on the Three Lions shirt, including Ray Wilkins. Representatives from the West London borough have accumulated 153 caps between them. | Getty Images

2. Havering
Only eight England players have hailed from Havering, but the likes of Tony Adams and Frank Lampard have significantly brought up the borough’s average number of caps per player to 22. Jonjo Shelvey was the most recent Havering player to make a senior debut in 2012. | Getty Images
