Arsenal have struggled to remain consistent in their form this season, but an improved run of form means they could make the top four and return to Champions League football.
Manchester United, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur are also key contenders, as the drama continues to unfold.
As things stand, Antonio Conte’s Spurs are clinging onto the final Champions League spot, while Mikel Arteta’s Gunners may have to console himself with a Europa League place.
However, Arsenal still have two games in hand over their North London rivals, and as they are both on the same number of points, the Premier League top order may once again see a shift if Arteta’s men can prevail over Crystal Palace and Brighton.
David Moyes has been pushing for an improvement on West Ham’s 2021 sixth place finish, but he too may also find himself having to find solace in a Europa League qualifying position.
Brentford and Crystal Palace will hope they can hold onto their middle-order positions, however as Newcastle sit just two points behind the Bees with one game in hand, Thomas Frank will hope his side can repeat the glorious magic they spun at Stamford Bridge last Sunday when they beat the Blues 4-1 when they take on the Hammers and Watford.
While Chelsea can fight back from the shock loss and get over the line to assure another season Champions League football among Europe’s elite, Watford sit at the other end of the table with only a miracle likely to help them avoid relegation.
