Chelsea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Brentford, West Ham and Fulham are all still in the Carabao Cup. The London clubs will all have their sights set on the League Cup fourth round draw after their respective third round clashes this week.

Manchester United are the current holders of the trophy. They beat Newcastle United at Wembley in the final earlier this year.

Chelsea take on fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge as they look to get back to winning ways. It has been a tough start to the new season for the Blues and they lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa in their last outing and will be short on confidence.

Arsenal drew 2-2 against bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday and have a distraction from league action as they welcome Brentford to the Emirates Stadium. The clash could be a chance for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to step back into the team ahead of David Raya.

As for the Bees, they were beaten 3-1 at home by Everton last time out. Thomas Frank will be eager to see a reaction from his players.

Crystal Palace head to Old Trafford to lock horns with the holders Manchester United. The Eagles would no doubt love to have a big cup run in this campaign under Roy Hodgson and will fancy their chances of getting a result against Erik ten Hag’s side if they can perform to their best.

West Ham have had some tricky league fixtures against the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool recently. The Hammers face League One side Lincoln City at the LNER Stadium and may see it as a chance to give some of their fringe players and youngsters the chance to show what they can do, especially as they are juggling European football at the moment.

Fulham take on Norwich City at Carrow Road on the back of their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Marco Silva’s men are 11th in the table and aren’t doing too badly considering they lost striker Aleksander Mitrovic over the summer to Al Hilal.

The Canaries were battered 6-2 by Plymouth Argyle last Saturday and their defence was weak against the second tier new boys. David Wagner is in charge of the East Anglian outfit these days.
