David Moyes's squad will return to the pitch this weekend as they look to firm up their hopes of a place in next year's European competitions.
Following a rocky spell of results, West Ham are back up into seventh place on 44 points but with Brighton and Wolves just two and three points below, Moyes will be hoping the Irons history against Newcastle does not repeat itself this weekend.
In their last nine Premier League fixtures against each other, the Hammers have only won one fixture, losing four, but if they are to keep up with Manchester United in sixth position in the race for Europe, Moyes will hope the current streak of four games without defeat continues as they face a depleted Eddie Howe squad.
