It’s been an upsetting week for both Liverpool and West Ham ahead of Saturday’s clash. The Irons’s hopes of securing a place in Europe next season are fading away while Liverpool’s aims of a final trophy before Jurgen Klopp’s departure have been excruciatingly hampered following their defeat to Everton in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday.
David Moyes is yet to sign a new contract with the London Stadium side and recent reports have indicated the 19th May could be his final match in Stratford with the team picking up three defeats in their last five matches.
