They have a few injury woes to contend with though as they look to kick-start their new European campaign with a win.

‘Question mark for me’...

David Moyes has provided this injury update regarding key midfielder Soucek could miss out, as per the club’s official website:

“Tomas Soucek picked up a foot injury from the game against Chelsea, so Tomáš could be a question mark for me.”

West Ham are without defensive pair Aaron Cresswell and Ben Johnson.

However, Gianluca Scamacca and Craig Dawson have returned to training, whilst defender Nayef Aguerd is making good progress.

Tonight’s opponents FCSB won the Romanian top flight last term (Liga I) and have a few players to keep an out for such as skipper Florinel Coman and midfielder Darius Olaru, who was linked with Rangers over the summer.

After they get through this one, West Ham return to Premier League football this weekend at home to Newcastle United.

They go into that one on the back of their unfortunate 2-1 away defeat at Chelsea last weekend.
