Nuno Espírito Santo needs to pick this West Ham line-up for Everton clash to get off to winning start
West Ham are back in Premier League action on Monday night as Graham Potter has been sacked and replaced by Nuno Espírito Santo.
West Ham face Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night in their next Premier League clash. They will have to sit back and watch the rest of the league in action over the weekend. Graham Potter has left the club and been replaced by Nuno Espírito Santo.

It has been a tough start to the new season for the Hammers. They have struggled for results so far and are sat in 19th place in the table. The London outfit are inside the drop zone along with Wolves and Aston Villa.
West Ham goalkeeper and defence
West Ham signed Mads Hermansen from Leicester City in the last transfer window. However, he has made a few mistakes already and has found it hard to settle. Alphonse Areola was brought in against Crystal Palace last time out and should keep his place against Everton.
Kyle Walker-Peters also joined the Hammers this past summer. His contract expired at Southampton and he subsequently became a free agent. He likes to get up and down the flank of the defence, with El Hadji Malick Diouf doing the same on the left.
In the heart of defence, West Ham need to be more solid and Nuno can deliver that. Former Arsenal man Konstantinos Mavropanos signed for them back in 2023 and has since been a regular. Max Kilman is likely to get the nod again next to him as the pair look to keep the Toffees at bay in front of Areola.
West Ham midfield and attack
West Ham remain without the suspended Tomas Soucek. He was sent off against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month and still has two more fixtures left to sit out of. James Ward-Prowse is poised to get some more minutes and will want to use his threat from set-pieces a bit more over the coming weeks.
Lucas Paqueta stayed put with the Hammers beyond the last deadline. He was linked with a move away but nothing materialised in the end. The Brazilian has quality on his day and will be looking to cause Everton some problems with his left foot.
Matheus Fernandes was snapped up from Southampton recently after the Saints’ relegation to the Championship. He has looked bright in parts for his new team. The Brazilian is still young and has potential to get better down the line.
Skipper Jarrod Bowen is West Ham’s main man and will want to lead his teammates to a big three points against the Toffees. He has been playing his football at the London Stadium since joining from Hull City back in 2020. The England international hasn’t looked back since and is one of their most prized assets.
Crysencio Summerville was impressive in the Hammers’ only league win this term against Nottingham Forest. He needs to be more consistent and may get another chance from the off against David Moyes’ men. It hasn’t quite worked out for the ex-Leeds United man with his current team yet.
Up front, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Callum Wilson play again. He arrived after the expiration of his deal at Newcastle United. The striker injects valuable experience into the starting XI.
