David Moyes’ side are in Europe again next term and are keen to add more depth to their ranks.
According to The Guardian, the London club are ‘considering’ a bid for Thomas as they search for competition for Aaron Cresswell and are keeping tabs on Brereton in the Championship.
They aren’t the only two players who West Ham are after either, with the same report claiming the club pursuing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic too.

Thomas, 21, has been on the books at Leicester for his whole career to date. He rose up through the academy with the Foxes and has played 61 times for their first-team to date.
Brereton, on the other hand, played for Nottingham Forest before linking up with Blackburn back in 2018.
He only really hit the ground running at Ewood Park last season after a difficult first couple of years but fired an impressive 22 goals in all competitions.
West Ham appear to have identified them as two potential additions and it will be interesting to see if they are able to lure them to the London Stadium.
