West Ham fans right to fume at ex Leeds United star's frustrating punditry - opinion
Former Leeds United defender Stuart Dallas was working on Sky Sports during the West Ham match on Friday night.
West Ham sunk to a seventh Premier League defeat this season against Leeds United on Friday night and are now three points from safety, with their top flight rivals holding a game in hand.

Somehow, things keep going from bad to worse for new manager Nuno Espirito Santo. The former Nottingham Forest boss took over from Graham Potter last month and has suffered three back-to-back defeats after a point at Everton in his first match in charge.
The defeat to Brentford on Monday night was a particularly worrying performance and that was followed up by conceding two goals in the opening 15 minutes at Elland Road. The Hammers pulled a consolation back through Mateus Fernandes in the 90th minute but it was too little too late.
Stuart Dallas tells West Ham fans to have patience
Former Leeds United defender Stuart Dallas was working as a pundit on Sky Sports and gave his take on what is going wrong at West Ham after the match. It’s fair to say that his hot take did not go down too well with West Ham fans.
Dallas said: “Listen, he hasn’t been in too long. They’ve got to trust the process. Jarrod Bowen has come out, given a very honest view of the reality of where they are right now.
“I think the natural thing as a player when things are going wrong, you want to blame somebody else, instead of taking responsibility yourself. These players have got to step up and take responsibility. The manager can prepare his team all week but if you start the game the way you did, you give yourself a mountain to climb. You cannot do that in the Premier League.”
If there’s one word that West Ham fans are sick of hearing right now, it’s the word ‘process’ and anyone with a faint idea of what’s going on at the club would know that. Hammers supporters have launched the ‘No More BS’ campaign against the ownership with patience to find the lost West Ham identity well and truly up.
Hammers supporters right to criticise ‘process’ comment
Reacting to Dallas’ words on social media platform X, one fan wrote: “Spoken like a true pundit who’s barely watched West Ham at all over the last three years. What process is that exactly Stuart?”
Others replied saying ‘what process’ while others pointed fingers at Nuno. One fan wrote: “No, the manager has to sort his selections out. This is not on the players, this is a clueless manager making poor decisions. Hopefully he has gone home tonight and put a line through Soucek and Irving for midfield. That experiment has failed.”
The misdirected process at West Ham long predated Nuno’s arrival last month but the manager’s team selection at Elland Road rightly had fans up in arms. The head coach persisted with fielding full-backs on the wrong side and still refused to hand a start to the experienced Callum Wilson.
The former Newcastle United man was thrown on after 25 minutes but, with West Ham having scored just one goal in Nuno’s first three matches, having a player with 89 Premier League goals on the bench and no out-and-out striker on the pitch seemed criminal.
In other news, Nuno Espirito Santo makes 'very bad' West Ham admission in 'commitment' rant.
