West Ham United’s best and worst performers this season - according to the stats experts

It has been another season of improvement for West Ham United as they challenge on a number of fronts as the campaign enters its closing stages.

The Hammers currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table and still have an outside chance of securing Champions League football.

David Moyes’ men are sat six points shy of fourth-placed Arsenal - although they do face what could be a defining home game against the Gunners on the first day of May.

An alternative route into European football’s elite could come via the Europa League.

The Hammers have been in fine form in the competition, seeing off Spanish side Sevilla to set up a quarter-final tie against Ligue 1 side Lyon.

A win in that two-legged affair would set up a semi-final meeting with either Eintracht Frankfurt or Barcelona as Moyes’ side look to secure the club’s first European final appearance since they reached the Cup Winners Cup Final 45 years ago.

Several Hammers stars have caught the eye during the season - and London World has utilised WhoScored.com to find out who is the best performing player in Moyes’ squad.
