West Ham United have had a rather disappointing end to a season that promised a lot.
The disappointing aspect of the defeat to Brighton was that the Irons could have secured Europa League football if they got all three points, with Manchester United losing away to Crystal Palace on the same day.
Hammers boss David Moyes was visibly upset with his players after a game they took the lead in.
He said: “It doesn’t feel like I’ve done a good job this season at the moment, because I wanted better.
“If today was anything to go by, we have to do a lot more than I first thought.
“I’m angry with the players because I’m not going to have the way they performed.
“When we were winning, the players didn’t show that toughness and that bottle that they’ve had before.
“We’re going to be a team at the bottom of the league if we are going to keep losing goals like we have.”
The Hammers board have work to do this summer transfer window, with links to Jesse Lingard and talk of bringing in additional midfielders and forwards.
There are also issues to sort out with the current playing body, with six of them out of contract this summer.
So with the transfer window about to open, here are the players who have run out contract at the London Stadium as well as those with just a year.
