Liverpool vs West Ham early injury news as 4 ruled out and 2 doubts

West Ham return to action on Sunday when they face leaders Liverpool at Anfield looking to spark some good form with an upset. The Hammers have struggled to pick up under Graham Potter, and their frustrations continued with a 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth last weekend.
Liverpool were stunned by Fulham last weekend, and as they close in on the Premier League title, the Irons can expect to face a Reds side with renewed focus here. In the meantime, we have rounded up the early injury news surrounding both sides.

Hide AdTrent Alexander-Arnold - Out
Alexander-Arnold should be back around the end of the month, but he won’t play here. Slot has said: "His situation is that unfortunately he is injured. Otherwise people probably would have spoken about him having one or two brilliant performances for the England team. But he is injured so for him he is fully focused for his recovery and for us we are trying to help him to be back as early as he can."
Joe Gomez - Out
Gomez is out until May, with Slot having confirmed last month: "It's a big blow for Joe and for us. He works really hard to come back and then the first game when he came back after two or three minutes we saw him making a sprint and now he is out for weeks again.
"So that's always very hard for a player in every part of the season, let alone a part of the season everyone is looking forward to. He will miss large parts of the end of the season but we expect him to be back in the final phase of the season."
Alisson Becker - Doubt
Alisson did not pass concussion protocol last week, but it’s hoped he will ahead of this weekend. Slot said after the Fulham game: “There’s a week to go [until the next game], so it gives us a bit of time. We always follow the protocol in moments like this when it’s a concussion. If you haven’t ticked all the boxes, he can’t be in goal. He wants it a lot, but the protocol is the protocol.”

A recent absentee, Cresswell looks as though he will miss at least a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury.
Crysencio Summerville - Doubt
Summerville was due to return recently, but it’s not clear when he will be back from his troubling hamstring issue.
Michail Antonio - Out
Antonio will be out long-term as he recovers from his car crash. He said in an interview: "I shattered my femur bone in four different places. I had one single keyhole surgery. They put a pole in my thigh with four bolts, so screws and bolts to knit it back together. My first surgeon said he didn't want me to put any weight on my leg for three months, which is around about now, and you can see that I am walking.
"We got a second specialist who said I needed to start putting weight on it, increasing from 10% up to 100% within three weeks. But I kept my crutches for a further two weeks. Overall, they say it will be between six to 12 months before my leg starts healing properly."
