The forward enjoyed a great season last year, scoring 18 goals and assisting 13 times – earning him a call-up to the England squad.

Liverpool are eager to find a replacement for Sadio Mane and have noted Bowen as a possible replacement for the Senegalese star.

Cornet to West Ham?

According to journalist Peter O’Rourke, West Ham are lining up a bid for Burnley forward Maxwell Cornet as the player is looking for a move away from the recently relegated side.

It is rumoured that £17.5m will be enough to activate the 25-year-old's release clause. Newcastle have also been touted as potential suitors for the player.

Cornet joined the Turf Moor side last summer but even with some brilliant performances, he was unable to prevent his team from relegation to the Championship.

Ake told he can leave City

West Ham target Nathan Ake has been told he will be allowed to depart the club this window after only making 14 appearances for the title-winning team last year.

According to talkSPORT, journalist Alex Crook has said Pep Guardiola has given the green light for the player to find a permanent move somewhere.

West Ham are keen to bolster their defensive options and Ake would provide plenty of Premier League experience. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is also keen to reunite with the player he managed at Bournemouth.
