West Ham head to Romania as they prepare for their final Europa League Conference game. The Hammers have already secured top spot, and sit nine points ahead of second place in their group, meaning tonight’s result for them doesn’t really matter.

West Ham currently sit on five wins out of five and will want to exit the group with a perfect record. The game won’t hold any real importance for FCSB too, who cannot qualify for the next round.

Despite their spotless Europa League Conference record, West Ham are still in indifferent form in the league. They followed up their 2-0 win against Bournemouth with a 1-0 away defeat to Manchester United in a game in which they rarely threatened.

That defeat away to Man Utd leaves them 13th in the league. They are just three points away from the drop zone and five points off of Fulham, who sit in seventh place.

Tonight’s opponents, FCSB also come into the game off of a loss. They lost 2-1 away from home to U Cluj, and sit seventh in Romania’s top division.
