Everton Vs West Ham early injury and suspension news as 3 ruled out and 1 doubt
All the early injury news ahead of West Ham’s Premier League clash with Everton on Monday.
West Ham return to action on Monday night when they face Everton away from home in the Premier League. The Hammers have had a torrid start to the season, losing five of their first six games across all competitions and only winning one of their first five in the Premier League.

Everton have enjoyed a much more respectful start, currently in 10th spot after winning two and drawing one of their first five games, although they did crash out of the Carabao Cup during the week,
West Ham have dominated the conversation ahead of this one, with Graham Potter coming under serious pressure, but he has managed to keep his job for now. The Iron boss admitted last week: “It’s this level and at the moment it’s not enough and we have to face up to that.
“We have to do more, we have to work harder, we have to find a solution to it. We have to be more stable defensively and offensively and find more ways to look stronger as a team. That’s where the work is now. We know we have to keep working. You have to face these moments up when it’s tough and it is tough at the moment. I said to the players, 'we have to stick together, work hard, keep on working on finding the solution and come out of this tough period stronger for it'. That’s the aim now.”
Here we round up all the early injury news surrounding both teams as the game approaches.
Tomas Soucek - Out (Suspended)
Soucek was sent off recently for a high lunge. Potter said after the game: “I don't think there was intent from Tomas, and there wasn't a lot of speed in it, but when you go with your studs raised, you've got a problem.” Soucek is out for another two games.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - Out
This one will come too soon for Wan-Bissaka, who has an abdominal injury. Potter said last week: “Aaron Wan-Bissaka will still be unavailable. It's a problem with his stomach. Hopefully, he'll be in light training tomorrow (Friday) or the weekend, but he won't be available [for the Palace game].”
Jarrad Branthwaite - Out
Branthwaite is going to be out until early October, with David Moyes having said: “They're making progress, and we'll see. We've got a couple of other knocks within the camp, but we'll see how they are.”
Merlin Rohl - Doubt
Rohl missed out last weekend and during the cup game in the week. He will remain a doubt for now. Moyes said last week: “He just picked up a small injury in his hip, groin area. I don't think it's too bad, but it was just enough that it wasn't going to get him involved here.”
