David Moyes' first West Ham XI now - lung issues, Sporting Director and Ligue 2

It's been more than six years since David Moyes took charge of his first match as West Ham manager.

West Ham manager David Moyes has answered critics in recent weeks with two back-to-back Premier League wins over Brentford and Everton.

His Hammers side now sits seventh in the league as attention turns to the Europa League meeting with SC Freiburg. Some supporters are still unconvinced by the veteran Scotsman, who has remained assured in his position at the London Stadium.

Moyes was appointed West Ham boss in December 2019 on his second stint, having previously taken control of the side for six months from November 2017. In his first ever Hammers match, his side lost 2-0 to Watford as Moyes shared disappointment with "big players with big reputations" on that day - Richarlison and Will Hughes bagged for Marco Silva's Hornets. LondonWorld looks at where the squad from that day is now.
