'Bid accepted' - West Ham already know next £11m transfer coup

West Ham United appear to be wasting no time on the recruitment front even having just confirmed a £25.5 million deal for Brazilian youngster Luis Guilherme.
The 18-year-old was confirmed as a Hammers man this week as he put pen to paper on a five-year deal having made the switch from Palmeiras in his home country. West Ham have been shopping in the South American country and aren't done yet.

The former Wolves man quit the Midlands club last summer after a fallout over recruitment and it appears that West Ham are keen to appease the coach in these early weeks.
Speaking when confirming the signing of Guilherme, Steidten said: “This is a very important signing for us – we’ve worked hard across the Club, working closely with the Board, to secure Luis’s signature. We know how tough the Premier League is, and we want a squad that is competitive next season, but also to find the balance of ensuring that we plan for the longer-term future. Exciting young players like Luis Guilherme will help us to reach those goals.”
RTI Esporte now reports that the club have launched an official £11 million bid for Fluminense striker Jhon Arias, which has already been accepted. The Premier League outfit are in desperate need of additional strike force and the 26-year-old could be the answer to that.

The Colombian international has 13 caps for his national side and has been with Fluminense since 2021. West Ham are reported to owe Fluminense an extra £1.8 million of bonuses should the striker meet performance targets.
The deal is thought to be ready for completion in the 'next few days'. Arias is a winger by trade, usually deployed on the right, but is also capable on the left and down the middle. Wolves and Atletico Madrid were both linked with interest in the player earlier this year.
The forward has bagged a respectable 35 goals and 38 assists in 168 Fluminense appearances since joining the club and has seven goals and four assists this term.
