West Ham needed a victory against SC Freiburg to progress in the Europa League and the Hammers did it in style as they blasted five past the German visitors under the lights in London.
It was a packed stadium despite the awkward 5:45 pm kick-off time and it was well worth they many dodgy excuses to clock off early that supporters no doubt had to cough up to bosses in the capital. Mohammed Kudus was the star of the show with a brilliant brace but there were also moments to savour in a George Earthy debut and some great strikes from distance.
Here are nine memorable photos from Thursday night's victory.
